Our Offerings for Children

The experience of finding a spiritual home on earth is strengthened through the Sunday Service for Children, festival celebrations and the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The Sunday Service for Children

The Sunday Service for Children is an age-appropriate service for children in grade 1 through confirmation age, which typically happens in grade 8. Younger children are welcome to sit with their parent for the service.

We gather September through June at 9:45 am for singing and a story followed by the children’s service at 10:30 am.

Childcare is available September through June during the adult service (The Consecration of the Human Being) that follows at 11 am.

After Confirmation (Youth)

Our aim is to lead the growing young person to a religious view of the world that is supported by their own experience and insight. Young people take part in youth events, but full membership in The Christian Community depends ultimately on a mature, personal decision as an adult.
